We have already seen self-driving cars, 5G towers and more innovative technologies this decade than we have previously.
But what does this mean for lesser large projects? How will smaller technologies evolve such as dj controllers and midi gear, for example?
How will they look in design, in say, the year 2050 or 2100? From a business perspective, how will people invest in new dj equipment?
It could be crazy (in a futuristic way). Who knows. But it could be a lot of fun. The future of djing could be exciting.
We have already seen massive innovations in visuals and live set up. Along with new instrument inventions for djing and producing music in 2020.
For example, the midi guitar is a new invention for djs and music producers. It was so simple, I was wondering why I didn’t come up with this!
Artists such as Eric Prydz have recently innovated in the world of 3D visuals for their live shows and it looks insane. Other djs such as Flume, Dillon Francis have gone to extremes to ensure their visuals are next level at shows like Coachella.
I always felt like pioneer djs Daft Punk were the originators from their 2007 live show at Coachella.
It is phenomenal to think about what the future will bring for dj controllers and midi gear and I am beyond excited.
